Admission of fans to stadiums

Of course, we are not talking about a full return to pre-quarantine stadium occupancy rates yet. At the first stage of lifting restrictions, the total occupancy of the stands should not exceed thirty percent, while local restrictions in various countries and cities must be taken into account. Starting from the first matches of October, fans will be able to visit stadiums during matches of national teams in the League of Nations and club teams in European competitions.

In turn, the RFU reported that the October matches of the Russian national team in the League of Nations, which will be held in Moscow, will be held with fans according to recent UEFA recommendations. The venue of the matches of the Russian national team with the teams of Turkey and Hungary also became known. The meetings will take place at the VTB Arena stadium, on October 11 with the Turkish national team and on October 14 there will be a match with the Hungarian national team.

The names of the players called up to the national team by head coach Stanislav Cherchesov for the matches against Sweden, Turkey and Hungary have become known. They were the defender of Sandhausen, Alexander Zhirov, as well as the players of Spartak, defender Ilya Kutepov and striker Alexander Sobolev. Zhirov was already called up by Fabio Capello in 2015 and was part of the expanded national team, but did not enter the field in the national team jersey.

The next match of our national football team will be a game with the Swedish national team. It will be a friendly match, which will be held on October 8 at the "VEB Arena" stadium. Let's remind that in the last matches our national team beat Serbia (3:1) and Hungary (3:2) on the field.
