The UEFA Nations League games will be held on various football fields throughout Europe. The Union of European Football Associations has developed a special classification that classifies football stadiums into one of its four categories. The venues for the tournament are assigned at least the Second category. Most of them have the highest, Fourth category. An up-to-date list of sports facilities is available on the Stadiums page. The venues depend on the participating teams and on the schedule of the tournament, which is determined by UEFA.
The fourth draw of the UEFA Nations League for the 2024-2025 season will take place in several stages. 55 national teams will take part in the tournament. The group games will take place in the autumn of 2024. Then the national teams will play for elimination. The play-offs are scheduled for March 2025, and the final part of the playoffs is scheduled for June 2025.
The Union of European Football Associations announced a new tournament for national teams in 2018. The UEFA Nations League competitions were created instead of the friendly matches that were held annually. The tournament also provides an additional chance, in addition to the main qualifying process, to qualify for the Euro.
